I've used this book for two Speech Pathology courses, Acoustic Phonetics and Anatomy and Physiology. My teacher literally teaches in complete order of these chapters so I found this book to be very helpful. It goes step by step and does a decent job of explaining all the things associated with the body and speech, language and hearing. There are also very good glossaries as well as practice tests for each section. They are challenging but really help you to get to know your stuff. I am definintely keeping this book for my future SpeechPath days.
