(More customer reviews)I recently had shin splints evaluated by my doctor. He used a tuning fork as a quick check for stress fractures. The one he used was considerably heavier, and made it feel like my entire leg was vibrating like a guitar string. This one is nowhere near that strong.
It might still work in that role, but I think labeling it a "medical professional tuning fork" is slightly misleading.
