(More customer reviews)It's really thin, cheap plastic and I knew I was going to have problems. It worked well enough at first though. It is pretty loud, and the vibration works OK. One thing I hate about it is that because it is analog you have to set it within 11 hours of when you are going to wake up. If the hour hand it even close to the alarm hand, the thing will go off. That is annoying if your spouse goes to bed before you and you have to fumble around with the alarm clock in the dark. Also: The wire that connects the vibrating disc to the alarm clock is always dangerously close to falling out of the back (and often does), it doesn't keep very good time, and if you "snooze" a couple times the alarm stops going off. None of that really matters though because after using it for a few months it just stopped working for no reason other than it was a piece of crap.
