(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my business phone at work. Unfortunately, calls keep cutting out at random. There is a feature on this device that is supposed to turn off the unit if there is no sound after a while. This may be too sensitive. There needs to be an over-ride switch for this obnoxious feature. If I speak LOUDLY into the phone, the device turns back on.
Now, let's get to the second issue. In thinking there might be a manufacturing defect causing the problem above, I opened the unit to inspect the circuit board. YIKES. What I found was very poor soldering all over the board. I work as an electronic tech. Our company would never let such crap out the door. I've uploaded photos. Way too much flux all over the board. Solder splashes, dirty flux and excess solder. This wouldn't pass the least stringent requirements, such as IPC-610, class I. I cleaned up the board, but the problem above still persists.
