(More customer reviews)This book is an excellent resource for the in-class student. However I do not recommend this book and its contents for the self instructing student. The manual displays signs without definitions and can lead to easy misinterpretation and poor context understanding and usuage. Once again though, it is an excellent book for the class room that builds upon itself gradually and quickly makes communication in ASL possible. I strongly recommend accompanying this instruction manual with a good ASL dictionary.
