After reading reviews here, I emailed the company (Westone) and asked about mercury in their product. Here is their response:Please find the current MSDS attached for Oto-Ease, dated Dec 2008 for product Westone sells. Previous to December 2008 trace amounts of Mercury could be found in Oto-Ease. However, that is no longer the case, that ingredient has been removed.
I love this product and will continue using it.

Oto-Ease is a greaseless lubricant that eases insertion of ear molds and hearing aids while inhibiting the growth of bacteria.
