(More customer reviews)The book has a focus on cochlear implants which I did not understand when I bought it. It discusses what the child experiences from a childs point of view. The upside to that is that my son, who is getting hearing aids, got to learn more about some of the kids he knows now with cochlear implants. I rated it lower because of the price. I think it cost me around $21 so I was expecting something more than a 8 x 11 paperback book. All in all if I had a child getting cochlear implants I would definately purchase it again.
