Ps 5:3 writes "In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice, in the morning I lay my request before you and wait in expectation.
Through journaling, my thoughts are now held prisoner on paper. My time with the Lord in the early morning is more intimate and personal as I jot down the previous day's blessings, trials and answered prayers. I also note the many thanksgivings I've experienced (I shoot for about 10 things I'm thankful to God). Then I make a list of the day's prayer requests.
Since reading this book, I'm more aware of the whisper of God and His still small voice.
