(More customer reviews)I was cruising the internet looking for something called "Listen Up." I accidently found this book. I read the reviews and was fascintaed by the seredipity of my situation. I test the hearing of preschool children. I am deeply concerned about the issue of hearing loss in young children and "tweens." I got the book. It is extremely well written. I loved it. I gave it to a friend of mine who also screens eyes and ears of preschool children. I now want another copy to keep for myself.

"Listen Up!" is a fun read that explores many dimensions of hearing. It explains why our very fast and loud world is taking a toll on how we hear things now and how we may hear them later. In "Listen Up!" you'll also meet Abby and Ben who face a lot of big decisions. As they juggle school, friends and growing up, they also find themselves living out their dreams, whether on a movie set or in a rock band. With secrets of their own, they come to realize that sometimes it's better to reach out than to be held back from who they are supposed to be.
