(More customer reviews)I received this book when I attended Deaf Way II. I originally thought it was a book of fiction, but it seems to mostly be true stories from each author's history. I wasn't especially fond of the poetry, although some of it is written from a Deaf perspective, but there were a number of good prose works. Also of note is Sotonwa Opeoluwa's "The Victim of the Silent Void," a play set in Nigeria. Like the Deaf Way II conference itself, the authors are truly an international group, reporting their experiences from various locations around the globe.
