(More customer reviews)Bought these last April. They do amplify well in a quiet setting but in a noisey setting they amplify everything! They are infinitely more comfortable than in the ear type so someday I know I'm ggoing to jump in a pool with them on. But prepare to buy new tubes every 5/6 months - $43. This is the second pair I've bought from GHI and these are more powerful than the first. But I keep thinking I'll find something better not so far.
